Day 15: Scary scaffolding

The last couple of times we went to Mauritius, we noticed more and more houses being built around the country. In the small village we rented a house,  there were building sites on pretty much every street corner.

What struck me most wasn't the amount of houses being built. No, it was the scaffolding. The workers were wandering up , trying to stay balanced on WOODEN beams. Now, I personally wouldn't feel safe on a regular metal scaffolding, so imagine yourself standing on what looks like a very unstable structure...

According to Fabrice's family, this is completely normal, and safe... We probably don't have the same definition of "Health and safety"...

What do you think?
